The Path Less Traveled

Squabetty is a unique wedding venue, especially suited for the outdoorsy kind of folks. We know this. There are no limits to how one wants the day or night to transpire. Some people plan pretty traditional weddings and receptions. But others take the day (or week) to a whole other level. One adventurous couple this fall ‘took the path less traveled by’… “We spent the whole week there, connecting with friends and family for several days before having the big party on the weekend. We wanted a private, intimate ceremony with a degree of adventure (and a bit of suffering) thrown in, and we took advantage of the trails out back off the property to hike up Mansfield one morning with our officiant. Our parents and siblings met us at the top and we had a very memorable ceremony with some unwitting hikers looking on.” …and that, I suspect, ‘made all the difference.’
